Hair Bows and Deals

I went to Target today. Duh. I always go to Target...pretty much every day of my life. It's a nice way to escape the daily grind of staying in the house.  So anyway, I actually went there with a mission today. Normally I just go to peruse the aisles. I was going to purchase a shirt that my friend has. But, as always, I buy something else that I don't really need, but think is pretty cool. Well today that thing was 2 six packs of grosgrain ribbon! Um, for one dollar per pack!! Pretty awesome, eh?

I've been making some pretty cute bows for Makayla lately, so these ribbons were the exact width to make some more! So yay! Got the shirt and the ribbon and that's all I left there with! I was pretty proud of myself for that one! :)

You may or may not have noticed that the star one is not in the above picture. You're right! I semi made that one prior to today and I finished it with the bow today. It's really a lot of fun to make them and it doesn't take that much time! Also I feel rather accomplished after I do something crafty like this. I always forget to have my baby girl wear them, though! HAHA! Now, I'm going to make a bow holder thing to hang on the wall in her room. It's gonna be sweet!

I also went to the bank today and closed my savings account. So now all of our money will be in the same account...finally! I had to change my last name there before they'd let me take my money out and I always forgot to take my marriage license, so I never did it. Until today! Took me long enough, huh? Since we'll be married for 4 years in May! Ah well, better late than never, right?

Also took Adam's BDU's to the dry cleaners today, returned some movies and got some lunch. It was a pretty great day! And it's still not over! Makayla's napping and Adam will be home soon, so I'm gonna go chill and crochet for a while.
