Mother's Day

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day! It was awesome!! We didn't really do a lot, but it sure was spectacular to spend it with my two favorite people in the world. We went to church, ate some In-N-Out and came home and played the Wii and relaxed. It was great. Of course, I didn't take any pictures to remember my first Mother's Day. Oh well.

Adam got me flowers. How thoughtful, huh? I am truly blessed to have such an amazing family!!

Our baby girl gets cuter and cuter every single day. She's also getting better about going to sleep without crying. It's really nice. Not every time we lay her down {yet}, but hopefully that will happen soon. Also, last night we put her to bed at 7:30pm instead of 7:00, so maybe we'll be able to get her to sleep in...it didn't work this morning, but there's still hope!

She's getting sooooooo much better about taking naps, too! Most people claim that as your baby gets older, it'll be harder for them to take longer naps, but the opposite is true with Makayla. She took a 3 hour nap yesterday and a 2 hour one the day before! They always used to be 30 minutes, so yay!!!
