It has been a crazy busy week around here!!
The babies had their usual Tuesday and Thursday school days. Kalkidan had an extra school day on Monday, which is awesome for her and me! So I just had little Addi to take care of all day. It was awesome! We went to Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast, just her and I. It was so fun. I love getting to spend one on one time with my girls. It makes them feel special and it makes me feel special. Pouring into their lives is SO important. Nurturing them and listening to their hearts, I just love hearing every little thing that comes out of their mouths. Then we came home and watched Frosty the Snowman, because duh! My girls are totally obsessed with that movie right now. It's so cute.
Of course we had ballet on Monday night, as usual. Makayla got to dance with her teacher as her partner for the second part of class. They have a video monitor in the waiting room area thing and I just love getting to watch her. She is so poised and she adores ballet. She talks about how she knows French all the time. :)
On Tuesday I went to lunch with Makayla at school. It took time out of my 'busy' day 'off' from children, but it's totally worth it. Spending one on one time again. She LOVES it when I come see her at school for lunch. I try to go every week, but sometimes, I just don't want to. I know that might sound awful, but I need a break from all the running, too! So we had a sweet time chattin' it up. Her teacher told me that day that she is getting an award today! But I'll get to that in a minute.
I decided Wednesday was for staying home. I didn't do anything. The littles played on the iPad and watched tv and played and ate lunch.
Addison's little class had a Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday and they invited the parents to come. So I did! She looked so sweet! They made little Indian hats with feathers that said what they are thankful for. Too adorable! She is SO quiet at school, which was really weird to see, because she is definitely NOT like that at home!! So then I went to sit down on the floor next to her and totally sat in something wet. I don't even want to think about what it was. My bootay was wet for the rest of the day...until I got a chance to come home and shower. I'm just hoping it was juice. Such is life with four year olds! :)
Before the lunch I volunteered at M's school, like I do every Thursday. I love those kids. Listening to them read sight words is so much fun for me! I LOVE reading so I want to foster the love of reading in every child everywhere!! Especially mine at home. Makayla LOVES to read and she does every chance she gets. She'll even read while watching TV! Talk about multi tasking! HAHA!
Thursday evening we had Open House at Makayla's school. She was so excited to show us everything in her school! Before we left she was telling us allll about the places she was going to take us! Mind you, we've been to her school a billion times, but it was super sweet to see her excitement. We got to see her Theater Room, Gymnasium, Music Room, the Library and of course, her classroom. They made these super sweet little pictures and 3D pumpkins that they had sitting on their desks. We also got to look through her Math Journal and Reading Journal. I love seeing what she works on at school. She is so proud and just loves showing us all around.
Which brings us to today!! At the end of every six weeks, Makayla's school has an assembly to announce the awards for the SOARing students for that six weeks. Each class has one per six weeks. And today was Makayla's day!!! She got the SOAR Award!!!! I was crying the whole time, but let me back up a second.
So obviously my girls know Daddy leaves for work before they go to school. Since he isn't here and I take them to school, right? Right. Well today Adam was still at home. AND I showered before school, which I NEVER do. So Makayla is asking us all these questions about why all this stuff is going on. "Mommy, why are you getting ready so early?" "Um Mommy, Daddy is always gone before I go to school. Why is he still at home?" So I'm making up all these things: "I wanted to get ready early today because Mittens woke me up meowing." (True.) "Daddy got up late so he is going to work later." (Not really true.) She's inquisitive, that one.
Adam drove in his car to the school so M wouldn't know anything. Obviously. Did I mention she had NO IDEA she was getting this award? Because she didn't. It was a total surprise. After I dropped her off, I parked and stayed in the car with the littles for a few minutes, waiting for Adam. We went inside and sat at the back of the auditorium waiting and waiting and waiting. She came in, didn't see us, sat down. All's good. :)
I taped when they said her teacher's name so I could record what her teacher had to say about her. I was crying the whole time because how can you not? My daughter, MY DAUGHTER, got the highest award at her school. How amazing is that?! So her guidance counselor read this beautiful note that her teacher wrote about her and how she SOARs everywhere she goes and then they said her name right at the end. Since she had no idea, she got up, had the most shocked look on her face, threw her hands up to her mouth, and then walked up to her teacher. It was so precious!!!!! While all that was happening, her guidance counselor said, "Look at her face!" She was the only one that was totally shocked. It was just priceless. I love her so much. And then, when she went back to her seat, all of her classmates were giving her high fives.
I just can't even tell you how proud I am of her. It is a beautiful thing to see all your hard work, as a parent, pay off. To see your child succeed and succeed again and again and again. I know this is NOT about me, but it's an affirmation that I'm doing something right as a Mama. Knowing that she's going to school every day with a great attitude and a beautiful, caring heart, makes everything right in the world.
Makayla, I am so proud of you. I am proud of the girl you are becoming and the heart that you have. I love how you love to help others every chance you get. I love how you don't care about other peoples' differences. You embrace everyone, no matter what. I love that you do quality work all the time and you don't even need to be told! You just do that because it's who you are. You are an amazing and beautiful little girl, inside and out. I love you with every part of me. Also, please stop growing up, no matter how wonderful you are. I love you forever and you always make me proud, award or not.
So that's that. I quit for the weekend. Except not really because we have SO many fun things for this weekend, too! :)

Our Week.
Well after the fabulous high of being with some of my very best friends last weekend, I was hoping this week would deliver. And it totally did. :)
Monday we went to Target to pick up some things and then we headed over to Nana's for a little bit.
Tuesday Makayla had preschool and loved it.
Wednesday we went to the library with Sarabeth and her girls. It was a blast! All the girls loved playing together and picking out books. We love the library, but we should definitely go more often.
Thursday we missed preschool because I was a slacker. :( We did have a super fun walk because it was amazingly gorgeous outside. Not like today! It's been freezing! Ohio weather is so weird.
And then Friday we went to the zoo with Sheila and her boys! It was SO much fun! Sheila got everyone to fit in her car...that woman is Super Mom!! We packed our lunches and headed to the Akron Zoo. Everyone had an awesome time, though Makayla was a little sad that they didn't have any elephants. We might need to go to the Cleveland Zoo sometime to hit up the elephants. She really wanted to give them some of her water. :) Here's some pictures from our awesome day together. Enjoy!
While we were at the zoo, we came across some goats. There was a sign in front of them that said 'retired' on it. I asked Sheila what that meant and she said it probably means that they're just old. Well, Makayla overheard our conversation and she came back with, 'They're probably Grandma goats or something.' BAHAHAHAHA!!! My child is pretty quick! :)
And then on Friday night I went to a meal planning party. You basically make meals to have in your freezer and then you can just pull one out, thaw it and you've got dinner all ready to go! Super easy! It was a blast and I had a lot of fun getting to know some more women from my church.

We had a great week and somehow this week, we got blessed with almost $800 towards our adoption! It is amazing to see God work all of this out for His glory. I love it!! And thank you to our precious donors. You know who you are. ;)
19 March 2012
Overwhelmed.
I feel like every day there is something going on or something that needs to be done. Or something that's keeping me from getting things done that I need to get done. My sink is loaded with dirty dishes and my dryer is stuffed full of clean, dry clothes that are waiting to be folded. My dishwasher is chocked full of clean dishes just waiting for their home. I've switched out all the girls' clothes since it's freaking summer in March and I have yet to fold their winter stuff and put it in the basement. Why is my house in shambles? Because of my foot.
I'm just gonna go through last week because I feel like a lot happened and I haven't really shared much of our personal lives in a while. Or something like that.
Monday we didn't do much of anything. Just hung out at home for the day.
Tuesday we enjoyed the sunshine...took 50,000 walks and chalked up our driveway. It was beautiful and the weather did not disappoint! I also happened to get a wart removed from my foot. Gross, I know. I got it lasered off and it was SUPER painful. Well, not the lasering, but getting 7 shots in it beforehand was stinking painful. But at least I didn't feel the laser! So now, I can barely walk. It's been a fun week, let me tell ya! I limp everywhere and it hurts very badly. The doctor gave me Vicodin for the pain except that whenever I take it, I immediately fall asleep so then I'm rendered useless for my darling children. That's a no dice. Anyway, yeah. I'm happy to have finally gotten it removed, but I'm looking forward to the day when I don't have to limp around in pain. I've been doing a lot of sitting, hence the no dishes being done anywhere. I also went to Olive Garden with my girls, Ashley and Heidi. We've been friends since high school and we get together once a month to catch up on life. It's always a blast and we love closing out the OG! HAHA!
Wednesday my mom came over to help me out. It's a HUGE blessing living so close to her because she came over and took the girls outside on some walks and to chalk it up...while I rested inside. I'm not kidding...this sucker HURTS.
Thursday nothing happened. I've just been in pain, that's all.
Friday was a pretty eventful day! In the morning I went to get some shots for my upcoming mission trip. I got yellow fever, typhoid and Tdap. So I'm all covered now...between those and the ones I got at my doctor's office. Of course I had to go to the health department which means I had to pay out of pocket. I'm waiting to get the receipt in the mail so I can send it to our insurance company and get reimbursed for them. I hope it works out easily! I also went to get my malaria prescription filled and the pharmacy told me that our insurance only covers 5 pills at a time, so I get half now and half when I come back. Isn't that funny?
That evening, my mom came over to watch the girls while Adam and I headed to a marriage conference at our church. It was an evening full of information and we're going to go over everything together again because it was just so much.
While we were there, I called my mom to let her know that I didn't have my cell phone with me so if something happened to just call Adam's phone. Then she tells me that Makayla fell off her bike while they were on a walk. She said everything was okay, but M was banged up a bit. We stayed at the conference because I knew my mom could take care of it. And she did!
Two things I learned at our marriage conference: The thing that's in the way of loving others is my love of self. The cross promises marriage fresh starts and new beginnings.
Of course I learned much more than that, but like I said, I'm still processing through it all. These two stuck out to me so much that I specifically wrote them down amongst all the other amazing information that was thrown at me this weekend.
So Makayla is fine. The next day it was pretty swollen and today it's pretty black and blue, but it's getting better every day! She's such a little trooper!
Saturday we spent the day at the church for the rest of our marriage conference. It was a big day with so much information, but Adam and I really enjoyed it.
Sunday was a day of rest! Makayla and I stayed home from church because I didn't want to have to explain to everyone what happened to her face. Adam went and got my computer fixed because the mouse pad was sticking and going all random and wouldn't let me use it, etc. There was just some dust in there and I guess some contacts weren't connecting.
Anyway, that's been our week! I've been resting a lot and taking my time getting everywhere...like an old lady! HA! Now we're off to have dinner at our friends' house!!

Weekly Wrap-Up
We have had yet another busy week around here! And no time to blog...again. :)
But, I'm not sure that I can blame that on our week. I think I need to blame that on Pinterest. Oh my word, you guys!! That website is insanely awesome!!! I'm kind of obsessed. It's not healthy. So, switched out Facebook for Pinterest. Such is life, I guess. Go check it out! Great recipes, crafts, places to see, etc. It's amazing.
Anyway, back to our week.
Monday we stayed at home and caught up on laundry, which I happen to be doing again right now. How does that happen?! Every week.... ;) I went to my mom's to watch Bachelor Pad in the evening. Love!
Tuesday, Sarabeth and her girls came over to play. We had a blast having them over!! The girls tore apart our playroom, which is awesome, because that's what it's for!
Wednesday, I discovered Pinterest. Seriously, it's fabulous. I cannot get enough!! Just awesome. My mom and I went to Jo-Ann's and Hobby Lobby to get some stuff for some crafts.
Thursday, the girls and I went to see Adam for lunch. We had Pizza Hut and it was super fun to see Daddy at work!! Nap time came very quickly, which was a plus for Mommy. Pinterest time!!! :D
Friday, Adam had off and my mom took Makayla for the day. Addison slept all day, like she always does. But, that morning (the 19th), I felt inside Addi's mouth since I hadn't done that in a while, just lookin' for a tooth, expecting nothing. And lo and behold....she's getting two!!! The top left lateral incisor was busting through!! I checked on the other side and the right one is making it's way very slowly...it's not busting through yet, but I could feel it. :) I'm so excited that she's getting more teeth!
Anyway, the rest of Friday was pretty rad. Addi slept, like I said. I worked on this super awesome great project for Makayla allll day long. I am so proud of it! I made her a roll up felt mat for car rides!! I made all these super cute little things to go with it, too. Here's a picture (or four):

And again, off the mat this time.
The mat, rolled up and velcro-ed.

I am beyond in love with this thing!!! It is like the coolest ever. And I am totally proud of it. Adam thinks I should sell them for adoption fundage. Anyone interested? It's a lot of work, so I'm not going to make one unless somebody actually wants one. It was pretty fun, though!
So, then after I made that, I went and picked up Makayla and we hung out at home for the rest of the night. It was nice, easy, fun day. :)
Saturday was super busy!!! We had our AWAA Ohio Reunion in Galloway, Ohio. It was a blast!!!! There were two families there that we already knew, Faith and Katie! It was nice to see them and to meet some new people that are also adopting from Ethiopia! It was such a fun day. I kind of loved it.
So after that, we came home to....our annual block party!!! We got to meet some new neighbors, which is always nice. We had a lot of fun there, too! Makayla LOVES all the kids that live around here!!
Makayla also rode a bike for the first time!! It was so much fun to watch. She doesn't know how to turn yet, but we're getting there. It was so precious. The kids had a bike parade where they decorated their bikes and then went up and down the street. It was so cute!! She stayed up past her bedtime and with no nap! She was such a good girl for having such a long day. Addi was there, too, but she's the littlest one around here, so she stayed in the stroller. :)

We had a busy day and we loved it! I'm pretty sure we didn't sit down until 9:30 last night. HA!
That's our weekly wrap-up! Today, we're chillin' at home and lovin' it. Watching Scrubs right now while the girls nap. Had Chipotle for lunch. Going to go relax for a while now.
I'm hoping to get a craft room set up soon! I'm super excited for that!! More to come!!! :)
01 July 2011
This Week.
I can't believe tomorrow is Saturday already. And I haven't even posted about our craziness that has taken over the household!
So, I guess I should begin at last Thursday. Obviously it was Addison's first birthday!! We celebrated by going out to dinner at Olive Garden...Addi's choice. ;) I might have influenced her a little bit. HA! Anyway, we celebrated her sweet little life with a good meal.
Friday, Adam had the day off, so we did some more packing for our big move!
Saturday, we had Addison's birthday party at our old house! It was just a family party and really low key. She took a nap during her party because every little party girl needs her beauty rest. :) After she got up, we did her smash cake. She was apprehensive at first, but once Makayla started feeding her the icing, she started to dig in. It was super cute. Also, Makayla blew out her candle for her. We opened her gifts after that and she got some cute little toys, fun clothes and some money!! :) We wrapped it up and everyone went home.
Sunday, we went to church and then prepared for the big moving day. We moved all of our furniture with the help of my stepdad and some of our amazing friends. A HUGE thank you to Brennan, Kristen, Luke and Joe!! You guys rock our socks off. Thank you for being there for us!!! We bought everyone Chipotle for their hard work. :) And a HUGE thank you to my mom for watching the girls for us while we did all of our moving!!
On Monday, we had Addison's one year appointment. They weighed her first thing and she has only gained 2 ounces in 3 months. Clearly this is not good. She also hasn't grown in length since her 9 month appointment. The pediatrician was very concerned so she said after her routine vaccinations, they wanted to draw some bloodwork. It went as well as expected, of course. Which is not well, in case you were wondering.
Addison was a sweaty mess the whole time, screaming and wiggling around trying to turn in my arms to get away from them. They put the arm band tightener thingy on both of her arms two times trying to look for a good enough vein. Well, they never found one, so they just went with the right arm. Her veins are so tiny and it was brutal. BRUTAL. I felt awful for my sweet little baby. I HATE needles, but I looked at the needle in her arm because I wanted to feel some of her pain and it hurt just looking at it and seeing how much pain she was in. If I could have given them my blood, I would have. It was horrific to say the least. After all that, they didn't even get enough blood to use anyway, so they didn't send it in. Awesome.
We have an ultrasound appointment to get her belly checked on July 5th, so they are going to draw blood at the children's hospital then. Hopefully they can make it a little less painful for her. And me! I told Adam he has to take the day off work to go with me. I cannot go through that alone again.
So yeah, we've been dealing with that. I've been shoving food in Addison's face all day every day since we found out she hasn't gained anything. We have a weight check appointment on July 11th.
Please pray that there is nothing wrong with her and she just needed to eat more. Please pray that she gains some weight by July 11th. I swear she looks fatter already, but my eyes might be playing tricks on me. Also, she has been pooping insane amounts, so I really think she is just pooping all of her food out again, which means she isn't gaining anything. Ugh. It has had my stomach in knots all week long. I have really dedicated my whole week to feeding my baby.
And on top of that, Makayla is sick! She has had diarrhea for two weeks now and now she has a runny nose that she constantly wipes, so the skin under her nose is red and raw. My poor girl. She slept in our bed with us last night because she just couldn't get comfortable. And even when she was right next to us, she would wake up screaming for me. At least with her right there, I could calm her down quicker and she went right back to sleep.
Ever since we've been in our new house, Makayla has gotten up at least once every single night. We think she might be scared of her new room. She also keeps saying she wants to go back home. :( We keep telling her this is our home now and I'm praying that it sinks in soon that we aren't going anywhere. I'm also hoping that since we haven't left the house much this week that she'll start to figure out that this is where we live. It must be hard to be three and have to move away from yet another house. At least we have all of the same stuff for her here.
It has been a difficult transition into our new house, but we're going with the flow. Satan is trying to take us down between Adam and I being sick before we moved, my mom getting sick the day of our garage sale, Makayla having diarrhea for two weeks, Addison not gaining weight and moving, but we are NOT letting him win. He's a sucker and we know The One that prevails in all situations. I am so thankful that we can call on Jesus as our strength, especially in these difficult times.
I have no doubt that the Lord has us on this journey to teach us patience, to love more and to make us stronger. He is my Peace. My Redeemer. My Strength.
Looking forward to a very relaxing weekend and praying that we all get healthy in this house!!!! :D

Crazy Busy!!
Dude. This paperchase business? Serious stuff, yo. I've been kinda slacking on it because I've been really tired lately and the girls and I were sick for so long. Ugh. But, I have also gotten a lot done, too!
Last night, Adam and I sat down to work on our home study agreement and our child placement paperwork. And then, we hit a wall. The child placement paperwork is WAY extensive. So we had to stop. I talked to our home study director today and got all the answers we needed to continue on. I'm hoping we can get it all taken care of tonight and get it sent out tomorrow, since I'm going to Pennsylvania this weekend and I'd really love to have that sent out before I'm gone for a while.
We also have to get a release of information paper notarized, so we're going to do that today. That's for the home study, too. I'm also hoping to get our Power of Attorney notarized today. We'll see.
So, what else have we been doing? Well, my birthday was Monday. Yay! I'm 27. Adam's birthday was Tuesday. Yay! He's 27. And yes, we're a day apart. Mind boggling, isn't it?? Also, our anniversary is tomorrow. Woohoo!! 6 years, baby!!! And our third kid is on the way!!! :D
We had some great friends over Monday night for cake, after my mom and stepdad came over for dinner. It was awesome.
Tuesday, I made ribs, potatoes and baked beans for Adam's birthday. I also made him a key lime pie!! It was mighty tasty, if I do say so myself. :)
Also, on May 5th, we started a Facebook 'event' for each of our friends to donate $5 to our adoption fund. We have gotten a great response so far and if you're interested, you can check out the event here. Also, you can use our ChipIn box on the right side and donate through there! We've been floored by the generosity of people we don't even know (and by people we do know!!). It has been amazing and the Lord has seriously been blessing this adoption journey!! Woo! Praising Jesus!
I think that's all we've been up to, so far. Tomorrow for our anniversary, we are going to an Ethiopian restaurant and I'm so excited!! I can't wait to try our future child's food. I've heard great thing about Ethiopian food. Should be fun!!

Stuff. And Things. And More Stuff?
We have been crazy busy lately. It's so silly because I don't even know where to begin. Honestly!
So, I'll begin with today. My mom and I went to our house today. And we have a roof!! And a front door!! It's crazy how fast this thing has gone up. They started the framing...started on Monday. It's Thursday and they're done with framing. Seriously.
Isn't that crazy?!
We hung out with a bunch of people last week. This past Monday, some friends from our church adopted their little boy and oh man, did I cry?! It was so amazing to witness. And what a serious blessing!! Ummmm, I had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. Yesterday we just hung out at home. And you know what? It totally snowed yesterday! Yep, on the 30th of March. Ohio, you're so lame. But, I love you. It's a lame/love relationship. I know, stupid joke. Today I had an eye appointment. I really needed contacts. So I got that taken care of. Then, like I said, my mom and I went to the house.
After that, we went back to her house. We were there for an hour or so and I told Makayla it was time to go and she said she didn't want to. She wanted to stay at Nana's house. So I told her she had to ask Nana, so she did. It was the cutest thing ever!! And so she stayed there while I brought Addi home to 'nap', except that she just cried in her crib the whole hour. Oh well. I got some stuff done. :)
Then I went back to get M and she was in rare form. Mean and very loud!! My mom said she was good the whole time she was there, so it was totally weird. Then she crashed in the car. So I called my dad and drove around for a little bit so she could nap. Got home around 6ish...got the girls ready for bed. Skyped with Adam and Summer and then called my brother after that.
It was a full day today. We were hardly home and my house is a disaster. But you know what? I'm so blessed. VERY, VERY blessed. I have an amazing family who stands behind me and supports me. Oh, I can't even tell you how awesome that is. It has been a great day.

I'm SO Behind, Part The Third and Final.
This Monday, I was supposed to go to All Fired Up with two of my friends from high school and their kids. All Fired Up is a pottery painting place and we thought our girls (all around the same age) would enjoy it. We were supposed to meet up at 10 to go there and I got there first and found out they didn't open until 11! Bummer. So we decided to change it and go on Wednesday. I ended up going to my mom's house and hanging out. Got Arby's for lunch. Delish.
Tuesday, my mom and I had plans to go to Olive Garden!! YUM!! We headed over there and got to have a nice lunch, just us four girls. Addison got a bit cranky towards the end, but she had been up for quite a while, so who can blame her, right?
Then yesterday was All Fired Up redo day! It was SUPER fun. Before we met up with the girls, Makayla and I made a quick trip to Target for some stuff we needed. Since it's been so frackin' freezin' out, I knew anything I bought would be fine, milk included. ;) Makayla had such a blast painting the stuff. I think she was a little intimidated by the other little girls, though. She wasn't her usual bubbly self. But we had fun painting anyway. And, of course, my battery died about 7 minutes into me taking pictures. :( I still got some good ones, though! None of these photos are edited because no matter how much I really want to edit them, I just don't have the time right now. I've got a baby that needs feeding and to go to bed and I'm trying to update this blog before Zumba tonight.
Oh and that milk I bought? Well, when we got home, I was bringing everything inside, tried to be super cool, like Adam and bring a ton of stuff in at the same time AND close the trunk and whaddya know? That milk busted all over my garage floor. And I said eff it and went inside and didn't even think twice about it. Except to tell Adam that we needed milk.
So, after our busy first three days of the week, I decided to do nothing today. I finished reading Catching Fire today during the girls' nap. SO good. And I just barely started reading Mockingjay. The final book! Can't wait to see how it all ends. So, I'm well on my way to my goal of reading two books a month this month. And I've already made two sewing projects this month, too! I actually made three because I made my mom a little make up bag thing (which I have a picture of, just haven't taken it off my other camera yet), so go me!
Since the beginning of our week was pretty jam packed (for us, at least), my house was feeling pretty neglected. So, while doing nothing today, I also caught up on dishes and laundry. I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. So good. It was a chill day, which is how I like 'em.
Anyway, Zumba tonight. Got a busy weekend ahead of us, too. Saturday afternoon, we're hanging out with some people from church for lunch. Saturday night, I'm going to see my mom's old friend, who used to babysit me. Sunday, we're going to hang out with some friends after church and then we have a V-Day date! YAY! So, of course, I'll have some more updating to do this weekend, with loads of pictures, because that's how I roll now.
Oh! My friend, Korinne, taught me this AWESOME new thing with my camera and I tried it out today. It's when you take pictures with the sun in them. I got some pretty sweet ones.
So I think that's it. I think I'm caught up. What can we take from this? Blog more often so that you don't get behind. That's what.

LOVE their faces. <3
Yummy appetizer.
Addi had her first taste of bread today! February 8th, 2011
She kept crying for more. :)
Straight grubbin. HA!
She really had a lot of fun with it. She kept asking for more and more and more paint on her little tile. And then she painted my hand! I wish I had a picture of that, but like I said, my battery died. Boo. So she painted my right hand and then she wanted to paint my left! So I cleaned up my right and let her paint my left. :) I wanted to do her handprint, but she didn't want to get her hand painted, but THEN, she wanted to paint her own hand! HA! So we tried to do a handprint, but it didn't work out too well. At least it's not that far from us, so we'll definitely be going again.
